Nakamichi model RX-202 Unidirectional Auto Reverse Cassette Deck in excellent condition. It has been serviced and aligned. Heads are in excellent condition. Please see frequency response chart below.

This RX-202 has had the reel idler tire replaced. The tire is a problem on ALL these units. If you're considering buying this model and the tire has not been REPLACED, think again. It is NOT an "easy fix".

The RX-202 transport features UDAR (unidirectional auto reverse).

Tape always moves in the same way in which it was recorded so there is no 'bidirectional azimuth error'.

UDAR offers the convenience of conventional auto-reverse and the performance for which Nakamichi is famous.
